Events in Ukraine have caught my concerned attention. Four generations of my Dutch Mennonite family were born and/or lived in Ukraine. On my dad’s side, they came to Kansas in 1873, and on my mom’s side, they came to Saskatchewan in 1922. My parents visited Ukraine in 2003 on a Mennonite Heritage Tour. I am mindful of the Mennonite programs and ministries currently in action in Ukraine and am keeping them in my prayers.
