The power to try new things

If you are not angry about the genocide in Gaza, you are probably not aware of what is happening. We don’t like to think about unpleasant things, and so we look away. We might say we have no power, but there are many kinds of power. If our God has power and gives us power, then we can do things never tried before. Two opportunities: 1) Help college students take back the decision-making power about what is antisemitism on campus and what might be done with each case. 2) Help our Jewish and Zionist brothers and sisters retell The Story that was told to them. The birthright stolen by Jacob was really a responsibility to take care of everyone. People outside the tribe of Israel are siblings, not the enemy. Retelling The Story can begin within the Christian community, with invitations extended to the Jewish and Zionist communities. There are new opportunities and pathways to discover if God’s people are willing to lead.
