Only a person who pretends God is not the ruler over all things can claim the right to redefine marriage. It would seem as though some have never left the Garden of Eden, where Adam decided he knew better than God. Doing whatever you want or feel is not free will, it is license. License falls outside of God’s will, as does the invented idea the Supreme Court ruled on recently, the legalization of gay “marriage.” The marriage relationship is ordered for the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring. None of these principles applies to a union that is not between a married man and woman. It is not possible to be happy while choosing to live outside of God’s truths.
