Aid gives refugees hope

Thank you for sharing a story that brings hope to people who sometimes feel forgotten (“Malawi Just One of the Destinations Reached by Meat-Canning Efforts,” page 20). I am a former refugee who spent the first 27 years of my life in refugee camps, including Dzaleka, where I now advocate for the rights of refugees. I was deeply touched whenever missionaries shared the Word of God along with food or clothing. These gestures gave me a profound sense that God and other people had not forgotten me. Thank you to all the volunteers who give their time and resources to bring a smile and hope to those who are suffering.
