Anabaptist World: How did you become an artist? Rob Larson: As a boy, I wanted to be a Disney cartoonist.

Rob Larson was born and raised in Mexico in the 1980s. His first impressions of light, color and music were in Latin America. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, and continued his studies at the Museum of Contemporary Art Esteban Vicente in Segovia, Spain. Rob maintains a studio in Evanston, Ill., where he explores the intersection between sacred poetry, our collective psyche and painting. He worships with Reba Place Church.
