This fall I’ve found myself looking down at the grass quite a lot. Here’s some of what I’ve seen. All but three of these photos were taken one morning in Iowa.
A fly on a blad of dewy blade of grass.
The same fly on a head of clover.
Ice on a dandelion gone to seed.
Big dew droplets and little dew droplets on clover.
Micro dew droplets on a seedpod. Anyone recognize the plant?
More dewy clover.
Mothy looking clover with dew.
Grass seed heads with dew.
There’s no hiding it, I really like dew on clover.
Pretty much dew on anything I guess.
And a fall photo collection on this blog isn’t complete with out some red berries.
And a few red buds won’t hurt anything either.
This final photo was not actually taken deep in the grass. Can you figure out what it is? Click on the photo for the answer.
