I agree with the concern expressed by Tim Huber in “Shameful Tourists” (Editorials, April 1). This past year, we visited the Trachselwald castle along with our tour group (TourMagination, “Life and Times of Early Anabaptists in Europe”), climbed the steep stairways and visited the secluded cells where Anabaptist martyrs were held in prison. But glancing around, my wife and I were unpleasantly taken aback by the numerous “Mennonite” names, hometowns and dates defacing the walls of this former prison — shameful, embarrassing graffiti, in our minds.
