I was amazed that Levi Miller and Daniel Miller (“On Not Being Anti-Trump,” June 20) allege Donald Trump has a lot in common with Amish and Mennonite traditions and issues. How does deporting 11 million people and building a wall constitute orderly immigration and borders? How does threatening to use nuclear weapons in Europe and against ISIS, and torturing family members of ISIS, constitute modest use of the military? Does Trump ever go to church or listen to a sermon if he does? Who is he providing hope for? Not people of Hispanic descent or African-Americans or people with disabilities or women or Muslims. This doesn’t even begin to address the lifestyle of a man who is on his third wife and brags about committing adultery. Trump’s lifestyle and business practices are anathema to everything Christian, Mennonite or Amish.
