Our culture says it is OK to be gay. This is a lie. The church is being deceived. Our culture no longer believes in a God who gave us universal standards for living. Our culture and our nation are heading for disaster. What foundation are the Mennonite churches standing on? Will God’s anointing and blessing be withdrawn from us?
Our culture says we should not discriminate (distinguish between) and should apologize for denying practicing gays positions in our schools, churches, Sunday schools, coaching assignments, etc. Why should we apologize for trying to have biblically aligned individuals working with, teaching and coaching our children?
The Bible says we should test the spirits to see if they are from God (1 John 4:1). We have to discriminate. We have to use discernment. We have to be careful who teaches and preaches. There are false prophets. There are those in the “church” who are leading many astray. We need to stand up and say, “No more.” We should not apologize. We should not be ashamed of God’s word, his commandments and his plan and rules for his creation.
The Bible discriminates. God discriminates. Jesus discriminated: Between Jew and Gentile, righteous and unrighteous, good and evil, circumcised and uncircumcised, baptized and unbaptized, sheep and goats, saved and unsaved, redeemed and unredeemed, wise and foolish.
Our culture says we do not need a moral code. We will be our own God. We will satisfy any appetite that a very small minority of the population may want. Many of our churches are going right along with this heresy. God’s bride has been corrupted by a small leaven.
