Shooters’ ideologies

“The Battle Is Not Won” by John Powell (A Voice from the Center, Sept. 16) contained false statements saying that the Ohio and Texas shooters were white supremacists. In fact, the Ohio shooter on his own Twitter account identified himself as a metalhead, leftist and socialist. He had attended Antifa meetings and was no fan of our national leadership. Even CNN, with its far-left version of news, said there was no known racial connection to the Ohio shooter. The Texas shooter was a racist and, according to his manifesto, also supported the far-left version of environmentalism. He disliked Republicans, Democrats and capitalism. He obviously was also not aligned with our national leadership.
