Thanks to Sarah Kehrberg for her insightful column on God’s power and our privilege (Nov. 27). Power inequities have invariably led to the privilege of a few being built upon the suffering of many. Whether it is the fatal whims of a paranoid king over the lives of innocent children or the arbitrary labor, citizenship and criminal laws designed to privilege half of a labor market over generations of Black and brown bodies, our guilt only serves to delay God’s justice and peace.
