In “Queer, Wild Congregation Welcomed” (July), Eric Massanari, conference minister of Pacific Northwest Mennonite Conference, praises “the collective willingness to explore and express together the inherent ‘queerness’ of the gospel of Christ.” I am amazed that a publication about Anabaptism would print such blasphemous heresy. It is one thing to extend the love of Christ to all; it is another to pervert the gospel by suggesting there is anything queer about it. This is the “another gospel” the Apostle Paul warned about (2 Corinthians 11:4). On the day of judgment, if not sooner, you will answer to Father God for this.
