Pray, look for good

I agree with Louis Lehman (Letters & Comments, Jan. 15) that we are to pray for those in authority (1 Tim. 2:1-2). Our choices in the 2016 U.S. president election were not ideal, but let’s get over it and go on. The president needs our prayers. I was taught to look for the good in people and not to cast stones in judgment. The mainstream media and MWR keep pointing out the bad in this administration instead of looking for the positive. God has used some unusual people whose reputations (and God’s judgment) we would question today. Think of King David.
