In “Setting a Low Bar” (June 4), John Powell accuses President Trump of being immoral. It all started with the Access Hollywood video. Progressive Mennonites ignore the fact that a pastor met with Trump and led him to saving faith in Jesus Christ. I accept this pastor’s testimony. I pray that Trump, a new babe in Christ, will become a mature Christian.

There is no end to the accusations against Trump by progressive Mennonites. I ask each accuser to give me all your words, deeds and uncensored thoughts to record on video. Then I will run the worst part of your video on every major news outlet in America until your sins are household words. You and your pastor will say you are a Christian and God has forgiven you. I will say I do not believe you. You will be condemned to wear your Access Hollywood video around your neck as a means for progressive Mennonites to subvert all of your accomplishments. You will object to being treated this way, but this is precisely the way you and progressive Mennonites treat President Trump.
