The Aug. 26 issue was the best I’ve read. The articles about climate change offered easily understood, hands-on climate-change mitigation actions that churches can use right now. There was a smooth transition from description of the problem to action in response to the greatest and most troublesome issue of our time.
But the article that warmed my heart the most was the report of how Ontario Mennonites joined with (of all groups!) the Roman Catholic Knights of Columbus to serve a family in great need in their community. With Mennonites/Anabaptists some things are possible, but with our loving Creator all things are possible. I never dreamed that conservative Mennonites would join the Knights of Columbus in such a marvelous act of service.
