Friends Services Alliance and MHS Association have begun exploring the possibility of forming a new, combined health and aging services entity.
FSA is a national association of organizations with Quaker heritage that serve seniors, including home care groups and continuing care retirement communities. MHS (Mennonite Health Services) is a health and human services network of Anabaptist ministries across the U.S. and Puerto Rico that includes retirement communities, a hospital system, physical and intellectual disability services and other organizations that address mental/behavioral health, addiction counseling, child welfare and housing.
Both organizations are committed to maintaining and preserving the core values and faith identities that have been integral to their missions. As they evaluate this potential affiliation, FSA and MHS remain dedicated to ensuring the missions of their members remain at the forefront of their efforts. No final decisions have been made at this time, and discussions are ongoing.
