Marcus Yoder
Marcus Yoder was born to an Amish family in Holmes County, Ohio. His family later moved to the Mennonite church where Marcus takes in active role in storytelling, teaching, and writing. He is the executive Director of the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center and the Ohio Amish Library and the author of Cathedrals, Castles and Caves, a book about early Amish and Mennonite beginnings. In his thirties, Marcus decided to return to school and graduated summa cum lauda with a Bachelor’s Degree in history from the Ohio State University in 2010; and a Master’s Degree in the History of Christianity from Yale University in 2015. He enjoys reading, writing, painting, and spending time with his wife, Norita, and their spoiled dog, Theo.
