Melody M. Pannell is a community leader, womanist theologian, clinical counselor, educator, and local politician. Previously an Assistant Professor of Social Work and Chairperson of the Committee on Diversity and Inclusion at Eastern Mennonite University. Also previously served as Director of Counseling Services at Virginia Union University and Director of Multicultural Services at EMU. Currently serves as the Director of Healthcare Leadership Education and Community Wellness at UVA Health Systems and Leader of a Coming to the Table Inc. local affiliate in VA.
