A graduate of Tabor College, he and his wife Heidi Huber served with Mennonite Central Committee in Germany, where the first of their three children were born. His family attends Shalom Mennonite Church in Newton, Kan.
Fresno Pacific University is eliminating 16 programs due to low enrollment and cutting 10% of its faculty to reduce costs. The board of trustees affirmed the plan at Oct. 27-28 meetings.
