In Letters & Comments (my favorite part of the magazine; I am not Mennonite), a writer asked, “Why the silence on abortion?” (February). Reading Anabaptist World, I’ve gotten the impression that most Mennonites are pro-abortion, though certainly not all. (I am pro-life, anti-abortion.) For you who are pro-abortion: I don’t get it. You’re so concerned about the thousands of people in Gaza who were killed, and yet you would have condoned the killing of every one of them while they were in their mother’s womb. Help me understand.
