Hundreds gather for MKC assembly

Meserete Kristos Church held its 94th General Assembly Aug. 28-29 at Meserete Kristos Seminary in Bishoftu, Ethiopia.

About 250 leaders from congregations across the country gathered for the annual event. The MKC High Executive Council appointed Seife Wedaj as chairman and Samson Estifanos vice chairman, each for three-year terms.

They were joined by guests from partner organizations in the United States, underscoring MKC’s deepening global partnerships and shared commitment to missions.

Other guests included Ethiopian Evangelical Churches Pastor Tsadiku Abdo and Ethiopian Gospel Believers Council general secretary Dereje Jenberu, who expressed appreciation for the gospel work MKC is doing in Ethiopia.
