I was intrigued by Charlie Kraybill’s response to Ryan Ahlgrim (Letters & Comments, April 15 print edition). I don’t hear much these days about promoting peace across the church in general. But more concerning is the direction our church has gone if, in fact, as Kraybill states, most Mennonite Church USA members are Trump supporters. Where has our belief and witness gone as far as morals, false “facts,” self-aggrandizement, hatred, race-baiting, name calling, sexism, etc. Do the majority of us really support that? If so, it seems quite a stretch to call ourselves peace promoters or even followers of Christ.
