Revamped Chicago ministry finds new purpose with women of color
My experience of growing up Menonita (Mennonite) was different than that of the typical Mennonite in the north.
Since I am now fully vaccinated, I have returned to riding the bus downtown to the Minneapolis hospital where I work. As a white person, I am in the minority on this bus ride. This leads me to reflect on life in Minneapolis for people of color.
At Providence United Methodist Church, race, one of the defining issues of 2020, is being negotiated in new ways.
