My deepest thanks to Tim Huber for reporting on the case of Gary Wall, former Pacific District Conference minister in the U.S. Mennonite Brethren Church (“Former MB leader’s credential revoked,” Dec. 23). Without Tim, I might never have known that the very case I was talking about in classes I was teaching involved someone in leadership in my church. Tim’s faithfulness to continue reporting on this case has given me hope that people are willing to see the truth of the situation. In his most recent article, Tim nods to the fact that the same leaders who claim they were unprepared actually had all the tools they needed to be prepared. I continue to hope for change as leaders wrestle with all that has been exposed through this situation. Thank you for reporting the truth so that we can see more clearly.
