Meghan Good, lead pastor at Trinity Mennonite Church in Glendale, Ariz., is resigning May 2 to focus on broader ministry.
Good has been a speaker at Mennonite Church USA conventions and is the author of The Bible Unwrapped and Divine Gravity, published by Herald Press. In addition to her work at Trinity, she is theology chair for the Jesus Collective, an organization that supports Jesus-centered Christianity. She teaches in the doctor of ministry program at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary.
In an announcement shared by Pacific Southwest Mennonite Conference, Good said she feels called to focus on strengthening the network of leaders and churches shifting to a more Jesus-centered vision of faith and life.
“I don’t know yet exactly what this might look like, but I have a number of ideas that seem worth exploring, and I believe that stepping down from my current pastoral role is one of the necessary steps to create time and space for this larger sense of calling,” she said.
