A time for war

We disagree about what peace is (“Epic Fury’s Prevailing Arrogance,” Editorial, April). Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is Iran not having a nuclear weapon. You say there is no imminent threat. Shall we wait until there is an imminent threat? If Iran has a nuclear weapon, will that increase the peace? Most every nation in the Middle East is on our side (and Israel’s side) because Iran is governed by lunatics and because of President Trump’s work in securing the Abraham Accords. Iranians were thrilled with us (and Israel) taking out their lunatic leaders. Venezuelans were thrilled with our capture of Maduro. Cubans will be thrilled if we can capture their oppressive leadership. I suppose you prefer oppressive leaders to stay in place and us to do nothing so we can have “peace.” There comes a time when talking is done and action is needed.
