Video blog: A glimpse of life as missionaries, neighbors, parents and friends

In this video, David and Rebekka Stutzman report on their first year of start-up ministry in Mannheim, Germany. The Stutzmans and their three children (pictured above, l to r, Immanuel, Nathanael and Liana) are mission workers with Mennonite Mission Network and Virginia Mennonite Missions.

Some highlights from this year include officially launching a missional leadership network, starting a small group for women, discipling a young man struggling with addiction, and organizing several small church services. After a deadly attack on a Christmas market, the Stutzmans help those they encounter to reflect on what they put their faith and hope in, and what it means to be followers of Jesus Christ.

“We have seen God’s hand in our work as we live out our faith as missionaries, neighbors, parents and friends,” they said.
