Same is good, too

Much of our problem in staying unified as Anabaptists (and as humans) is our unwillingness to embrace both tradition and change. Regarding the Dec. 23 editorial, “Different Is Good,” I could just as easily title an article, “Same Is Good” and end it with, “If we filter old realities through lenses of change, we can’t see the good that can come through doing things as we long have.” The Bible has not changed, nor have people. Morals have. Yes, change is good, but only if balanced with sound doctrine, not tearing apart the old-fashioned.
