Being the first First doesn’t sound very Mennonite or very Anabaptist (“The first First Mennonite,” June). Our focus is not our name or where we place ourselves but what we seek as our center: Jesus, the center of our faith; community, the center of our life; reconciliation, the center of our work. The important thing is not who was or is first but what is happening within the congregation and community, not the building. Thanks for the refocus.
