Wilderness Wind photos

Posted on 08/17/09 at 01:30 PM

I spent the past week in the boundary waters in Minnesota with my Mom, Dad, brother, sister, wife and our guide, Greg. I wrote quite a bit about Wilderness Wind a month or two ago when I was there with a group from Living Water. I didn’t really plan to spend all my vacation time this summer in the Wilderness, but that’s how it happened.

I planned to make this trip my photo taking trip, but our first day in the water I opened my shock resistant, water proof box to discover the camera was completely dead. Fortunately, my sister Abby and Greg generously shared their cameras with me. I’ve included some photos they took below as well (credit is on the flickr page). I’m sharing the photos in a bit different way this time since there are so many of them.

Among other things, you should find mushrooms,a birthday cupcake shaped pancake, beavers, a bear, rock cairns, a bog hole, geese, Greg walking on water and a spectacular sunset.
