Anabaptist Disabilities Network and MHS (Mennonite Health Services) Association received a grant of $1.2 million in 2025 from Lilly Endowment to support worship that is accessible for people of all ages and abilities, especially children with disabilities.
The funding from Lilly’s Nurturing Children Through Worship and Prayer Initiative will start Anabaptist Disabilities Network’s new five-year project, All In: Immersive Worship for Everybody.
Nineteen congregations have been chosen to participate, exploring ways to worship that are multisensory and accessible.
“We are so excited for each of these 19 congregations and the work they will do together,” said All In project director Keli Boyer. “Rooted in Anabaptism’s deep commitment to community and mutual care, this project is paving the way toward worship that is truly accessible to everybody.”
The congregations are already working to include people of all abilities in worship and will learn with each other as part of the project. ADN will develop training resources to continue nurturing and expanding the network of All In congregations. More information is at anabaptistdisabilitiesnetwork.org/allin.
