David White speaks the truth when he says, “Christians should focus on proclaiming Jesus as the way, the truth and the life” (“Filmmaker Probes Meaning of ‘Turn the Other Cheek,’ ” March 26). God has honored White’s faith and placed him in Hollywood, where few, if any, Mennonites can ever go. He has an effective medium to share God’s love to an unbelieving generation. In due time his father [a Mennonite pastor] will see his work and be impressed. I believe that, because I believe the great works created on Earth that are true, pure, lovely and of good report will be preserved in heaven forever. Heaven will hold many surprises for White when he meets the people who are there because they saw one of his films and placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
