Aaron Yoder writes that one way to “fix” Mennonite Church USA is if “all leaders within MC USA were willing to correct one another” (“How to Fix MC USA in 2016,” Jan. 4). I am unable to understand why more correcting of each other is what the church needs. Isn’t that what both sides of the homosexuality discussion have been doing for years? What we need isn’t more correcting but more love, understanding, patience and respect for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
