The March 25 issue had two articles I’m sharing with my classes at Rosedale Bible College. This semester I have a World Religions class and an Anabaptism Today class. Anabaptism Today students always find the “affair of the sausages” (“500 years after a sausage rebellion, divided groups reunite to remember”) somewhat amusing, but I think they regard it as an eccentric tidbit from the forgotten past. In World Religions, I have a unit on Native American traditional religion and usually show a clip of Lawrence Hart to talk about museum artifact repatriation. I appreciated the obituary (“Hart connected Native American and Mennonite peace traditions”) and was glad it included his military piloting and appearance on To Tell the Truth.
