MB Foundation charitable donations broke records for the fourth consecutive year in 2023, as distributions of more than $16 million were contributed to 477 different charities. The growth trend goes back to 2020, when distributions totaled $8 million.

Since its inception, the Mennonite Brethren organization has facilitated distributions totaling over $112 million.

Investors grew by 16% in 2023 to more than 900, and the $132 million loan portfolio represents 136 borrowers. Assets under management totaled $333 million last year.

MB Foundation contributed $268,250 to the U.S. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, including its immigrant church initiative and pastor and leadership development.

MB Foundation completed a building addition in 2023 in Hillsboro, Kan., that added office space and a 2,079-square foot ministry space. Several denominational meetings and gatherings have already been hosted.
