Poetry: Ponder, as Mary

Isaiah prophesies in zealous strokes
           of light and pitch.

The psalmist, in fevered praise,
declaims the gods of nations as idols.
God is for all the earth,
            singing trees and roaring oceans.

Titus tells us plain:
            Live sensible, ethical lives
            now. Do good actions.

May we ponder, as Mary,
            these things in our hearts,
then birth them through our bodies into reality.
