Kikubya Mennonite Church in Kyankwanzi District, Uganda, was impacted greatly by flooding in September.
Some 15 families lost crops or houses in floodwaters, which also damaged the church building severely.
Bishop Simon Okoth shared in a prayer request that Uganda had been pounded by rain over several months. In addition to hosting Sunday services, the church building also hosts midweek fellowships that have been key to the congregation’s growth.
The congregation includes about 60 adult members, many of whom migrated to Uganda in the 1950s from Rwanda.
