With songs and signs, demonstrators at more than a dozen Target stores across the United States protested the chain’s accommodation of Immigration and Customs Enforcement activities in February.

Protesters called on Target to pressure the Trump administration to withdraw ICE from Minnesota and urge Congress to end ICE funding.

Mennonite Action coordinated the events. People sang hymns and carried signs critical of ICE inside and in front of stores.

Mennonite Action representative Adam Ramer said Target is headquartered in Minneapolis and was singled out for its complicity with ICE activities on its property. He estimated well over 1,000 people took part in the protests.
