As Alisha and I have been sharing about our call to ministry in Scotland, it’s not surprising how quickly some people dismiss the very idea as invalid. Most of the time, we find it has less to do with the work we are called to and more with the narrow framework many people carry as to what cross-cultural ministry (or missions) looks like.
Alisha and Josh Garber
Alisha and Josh Garber are preparing to begin a new chapter of mission in Glasgow, Scotland, through Communitas International. After about a decade of service in Lithuania and Spain, the Garbers are emerging from a season of desert wandering and discernment in Phoenix, where they have been active in youth work, pastoral ministry, and digital storytelling. They attend Trinity Mennonite Church in Glendale, Arizona, with their son Asher. Follow their journey: worthwhileadventures.org
