Cam Stuart has been appointed national director of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.

Stuart is lead pastor of Arnold Community Church in Abbotsford, B.C. He has been on the CCMBC Executive Board for several years, serving as interim moderator since January.

“Cam’s three decades of pastoral leadership in our conference, his knowledge of our national vision and ministries, as well as his doctoral research, which focused on developing healthy disciple-making church cultures and strategies for our local churches, make him an ideal candidate to lead our conference effectively in the years to come,” said search team chair Michael Dick.

Stuart will complete his pastoral ministry early in 2024 and assume the national director role April 15.
