I want to express my dismay at Beth Landis’ letter (August) suggesting that Mennonites should advocate for abortion access. As a retired physician and as a Mennonite, my perspective is that there are instances when abortion may be considered, such as incest, rape and for the life of the mother. Landis’ letter does not suggest that abortion should be limited to such situations.
