Mennonite Church USA’s next biennial convention will take place July 8-12, 2025, at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, N.C.

The theme will be “Follow Jesus ’25.” Learning tracks, with theme-driven learning sessions, will take the place of seminars.

A one-day Women in Leadership summit will be held July 8, prior to the opening session.

Conventiongoers will be able to travel between convention activities and their hotel rooms without leaving the building. The Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons, connected to the convention center, is large enough to house all attendees.

Shé Langley, MC USA’s new director of event planning, said that in addition to the convention, “we hope participants will learn more about the historic legacy of Greensboro, which is home to two key locations on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail.”

Langley, who stepped into her role late last year, is also helping to plan other MC USA-affiliated events.

Glen Guyton, executive director of MC USA, said Langley’s “creativity and critical thinking will help elevate our next national convention to the next level.”

The founder of a digital marketing company, Langley holds a master of arts degree in communications-digital marketing from Regent University.

She has a long history of supporting MC USA convention activities, from participating in the worship band to providing social media management and web design.

She served on the board of The Mennonite (a predecessor of Anabaptist World) and was its digital marketing consultant. She has provided web development support for the MC USA website, among other Mennonite organizations, through her agency, Rank Lift.

“We are in the process of reimagining convention,” Langley said. “. . . My biggest goals are to ensure planning procedures are efficient, to collaborate with the planning team and to manage logistics and timelines well.”
