Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio announced a three-year management agreement with Brethren Retirement Communities, located in Greenville, Ohio. MHCO operates facilities in Bluffton and Pandora.

MHCO board chair Elizabeth Kelly said the agreement follows a 2019 consultation agreement with BRC and is not a sale or merger.

“BRC will work with us to renew our existing bonds, create a multiyear strategic plan and work on mutually developed goals and metrics to gain fiscal stability and security,” she said.

BRC’s primary role will take place at the corporate level, in areas such as finance, operations, human resources, risk management and other business office and administrative functions.
