LCC International University is hosting a European peace conference on the theme “Living with Fragile Identities” Feb. 29-March 3 in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
Featuring workshops on peace theology, nonviolent communication and trauma healing, the event is organized by LCC’s Center for Dialogue and Conflict Transformation, in addition to the Free University of Amsterdam’s Faculty of Religion and Theology, the Center for Peace Church Theology at the University of Hamburg and Berlin Mennonite Peace Center.
Presenters include former Mennonite World Conference President Danisa Ndlovu, a Brethren in Christ leader in Zimbabwe; Thobekile Ncube, director of women’s ministry at the Theological College of Zimbabwe; Duncan Morrow, a member of the Corrymeela Community of Reconciliation and professor in politics and director of community engagement at Ulster University in Belfast, Northern Ireland; and several people who have worked with Mennonite Central Committee and Community Peacemaker Teams around the world. — LCC International University
