Uprisings for Black lives have knocked America’s white supremacism off balance
These plans are not just about good politics or good policy. They’re about what government can do to relieve human suffering, about whom government should invest in.
Since I am now fully vaccinated, I have returned to riding the bus downtown to the Minneapolis hospital where I work. As a white person, I am in the minority on this bus ride. This leads me to reflect on life in Minneapolis for people of color.
